We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.
For parenting and counselling services, visit the Family Support page, and for direction and clarity on regulations, processes and procedures at our school, read the Sydney Catholic School policies.
St Jerome’s Catholic Primary School Punchbowl has an active parent community. Their aim is to support the school in lifting the profile of parents and enhancing parent engagement. Our parents organise celebrations such as working bees, Pancake Tuesday, sausage sizzles, the school disco, charity fundraising events and celebrations.
The parents support the school in purchasing resources including reading books, computers, iPads and sports equipment. We encourage all parents to be as involved in school events as much as possible. Parents are a vital part of our school community.
